WE CARE ABOUT YOUR AIR
DID YOU KNOW?
The average human processes
11,000 Litres of air every day.
Importance of Air Quality
Despite public health awareness and progress on outdoor air pollution, progress on indoor air pollution has significantly lagged behind. The quality of air inside offices, schools and other public and private buildings, where people spend a large part of their life, is an essential determinant of health and wellbeing.
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is important for two main reasons. First, most humans in the developed world spend about 90% of their time indoors. Secondly, studies show that indoor air pollution is 25 to 100 times worse than outdoor air.
As has been shown by the recent pandemic, we tend to make each other sick. Around 80% of human infections are transmitted by direct and indirect contact. Dust particles can carry germs and allergens which transmit from one person to another.
Analysing, Improving, and Monitoring Indoor Air Quality
We cannot see our air so how do we know if it is doing people harm? At Welltek, we start by analysing your existing air, by measuring key variables such as fine particles, VOCs, humidity and CO2. This gives us a baseline from which components need to be improved.
Solutions can be stand alone or purification can be installed into the air handling units that serve an entire building. Either way, once installed the user will be able to fully monitor their indoor air quality. A traffic light system allows the administrator to easily see where any problems lie and the user can set safe limits above which email or text alerts are sent
