Clerkenwell Design Week, the UK’s leading design festival, is back–and so are we! We’ve put together a programme that we’re genuinely excited about, and we can’t wait to see you there.
From 19 to 21 May, Welltek will be opening our showroom for various events in collaboration with our partner, Silen. All our events are part of the CDW Festival and are free to attend, but registration is required.
Our showroom sits right beside the St Barts’ Church, with breathtaking panoramic views of London’s oldest parish church. It’s a fitting backdrop for conversations about design and building things that last.

Tuesday 19 May
3:30–4:30 PM | Silen Talks Panel Discussion
Circular Workspaces: Are we designing out waste, or just hiding it better?
London offices are shrinking, leases are shorter, and fit-out costs are rising. So what does truly circular workspace design actually look like in practice?
This panel brings together sharp minds from across the industry to discuss design for disassembly, real-world circularity, and how materials, modular construction, and long-life acoustic solutions create spaces built to adapt, relocate, and endure.
Joining us on the panel are Roddy Clarke (Design Journalist), Ella Smith (Building Performance Analyst, AHMM), Lydia Randall (Head of ESG, BDG Architecture + Design), Linzi Cassels (Principal and Design Director, Perkins&Will), and Rasmus Nanhed (Strategic Advisor, Silen).
4:30–5:30 PM | Silen Space Gen 2 Product Launch
Immediately following the panel, we’ll be unveiling the Silen Space Gen 2, the new standard for office pods. Its user-centred design, built with sustainability at its core, is all wrapped up in Class A Acoustics–the highest rating for acoustic performance. It provides a space for privacy and focus, even in the busiest open-plan environments. Modular by design, built for disassembly, and made to adapt and relocate with your office.
This is the moment we’ve been building toward, and we can’t wait to show you.
5:30–8:30 PM | Silen Space Gen 2 Launch Party
Stay to celebrate the launch! We’re going full Estonian—think themed bar, cocktails, small bites, and a DJ to close out the evening in style.

Circularity: The Magic Is in the Data
Enjoy your waffle while we dig into what it takes to make circularity a reality with Ren DeCherney, Director of Built Environment at Cradle to Cradle. We’re all asking for sustainability data — but what are we actually doing with it?
Ren brings a rare combination of on-the-ground design experience and deep industry knowledge — from taking her Portland firm PVC-free (a first for the city) to leading sustainability integration for digital materials platforms and overseeing programmes at the International Living Future Institute.
Join us to explore how digitisation is shaping circularity, what it takes to make data truly usable, and how the right partnerships are driving real-world impact. Leave with actionable tips, fresh thinking, and a network of people ready to do it with you.
