The Framery project was born in 2010 in the Finnish city of Tampere, a city with a strong innovation culture. It is home to many hot tech start-ups, as well as technological giants like Nokia.
The company was founded by two young guys who were working as engineers at an IT company at the time. They were often distracted by their boss talking loudly on his phone, which made it hard for them to focus on demanding tasks. They started looking for a phone booth for him, but they weren’t happy with what they saw on the market. So, they invented their own. Today Framery’s range still includes the ever-popular phone booth as well as bigger pods for meetings, interviews, and video conferences. They enjoy global recognition as manufacturer of comfortable private spaces with outstanding acoustic qualities, having won a number of prestigious industry design awards over the past few years, including Gold awards at NeoCon and IIDEX Canada.
The best way to appreciate the Framery booths’ unrivalled acoustics is to try them in person.
Welltek, and Office Blueprint before it, is proud to work with Framery team across Finland and UK to ensure our clients the best solutions possible for their working spaces. Main UK partner since 2014, we have internalized Framery’s slogan “Serious about happiness” and are thrilled by the results achieved so far.
Framery provides the best acoustic booths on the market and this, together with the professionalism and competence of our team, has resulted in a very proficient six years long partnership.
What is the basic information requested to arrange Delivery&Installation on site?
In order to efficiently arrange the installation of your Framery Booths we need you to provide the following information:
Company:
Site Address:
Site Contact:
Contact Number:
Site Access (road restrictions, parking/loading bay, stairs, if lift is available please provide dimensions):
Any Site plans or Drawings:
Equipment and manpower, as well as installation costs, are allocated based on the information provided.
How long does it take to install the booths?
The installation time depends on the number and type of booths.
Indicatively, one Framery O takes a two-men team working for an hour, while one Framery Q will be installed by a three/four men team in two to four hours, depending on the site conditions.
To install a Framery 2Q a minimun of six men are required and the installation will take six to eight hours.
What are the space requirements?
The delivery of the booths will take place on the same day of the installation; the team will need a secured space to unload the truck and easy accessibility to the site entrance (ideally a loading bay or private parking).
If the installation takes place on floors above ground and if available, a lift to accommodate all the different booths’ parts would need to be made available for the team, who will carry them to the installation final location. Once there, they will need a clear area of roughly 2sqm to assemble to pod.
The booths are provided with a 4m long power cable which, once plugged in, will make the pod autonomous.
The booths cannot be built too close to walls or ceiling; a distance of minimum 10cm has to be allowed to ensure the correct functioning of the ventilation system.
What happens if (parts of) my booth is damaged?
If a damage occurs during the unpacking or installation phase the installation team will report the scope of the snagging to us, who will arrange for the repair works and potential replacement parts installation. Depending on the extent of the issue and what replacements needs to be provided, it can be resolved between one- and three-weeks’ time.
If an issue arises once the installation is complete, we will execute a basic troubleshooting via phone or email. If this does not resolve the problem, we will arrange for an assessment visit and follow the claim procedure outlined above.
