Ineke Hans made the first version of Forest for the Trees from MDF for her successful exhibition TRUE LIFE. The coat stand is now part of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam’s collection.
Laser-cut from a single sheet of steel, the coat stand is made of two separate pieces that fit perfectly together.

After studying 3D Design at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem, Ineke Hans continued with a furniture design course at the Royal College of Art in London. Since 1998, she has led her own studio practice. Her collections Black Beauties (recycled plastic) and Black Magic (a mix of materials) are especially striking.
